1. Citizen Public House

Citizen Public House in Old Town Scottsdale has a “Social Hour” from 4 PM – 6 PM daily. During their happy hour, they offer bar bites, like bacon-fat popcorn and rosemary roasted nuts, and more hearty snacks, like chicken wings and beer fondue.

Citizen Public House is known for its barrel-aged cocktails, which are not on happy hour, but you can order draft cocktails for $10 each during happy hour. You can also enjoy a featured wine for $8 per glass and a “Dealer’s Choice” drink for $10 each.

2. Diego Pops

Diego Pops is one of the most popular Mexican restaurants in Old Town Scottsdale that is known for its creative twist on classic favorites in a laid-back environment. They also boast one of the city’s favorite happy hours from 3 PM – 6 PM daily.

On the happy hour menu, you will find half-off appetizers, including grilled street corn and chips & salsa, as well as $6 Diego Margaritas made with 1800 Blanco Tequila. You can also order $6 wine and red sangria and get $2 off all beers.

3. The Montauk

The Montauk is located next door to Diego Pops, so head over to enjoy their drink specials if you’re still hungry or thirsty. Inspired by the Hamptons, this American restaurant offers live music, outdoor seating, and a great atmosphere.

The Montauk offers happy hour discounts all day Monday but only from 3 PM – 6 PM on Tuesday through Friday. You will find tons of food on the menu with a refined twist — including house potato chips, deviled eggs, burrata, and tuna tartare guacamole. For drinks, draft beer is $4, house wine is $6, and well spirits are $5.

4. Olive & Ivy

Fox Restaurant Concepts — a restaurant group that owns other popular restaurants across Downtown Scottsdale and Phoenix — has a fabulous happy hour at their Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, Olive & Ivy, in Old Town Scottsdale.

The happy hour deals at Olive & Ivy aren’t as well-known as the deals at other happy hour spots in Old Town Scottsdale, making it the perfect place for a laid-back afternoon. The restaurant’s happy hour is Monday – Friday from 3 PM until 6 PM and includes small bites, like bruschetta, and a drink discount.

5. Postino Winecafe

If splitting a charcuterie board and bottle of wine with your friend or partner sounds like your idea of the perfect happy hour — you will love Postino Winecafe!

Postino has a special called “Board and Bottle” on Monday and Tuesday, where you can enjoy a bruschetta board and bottle of wine for just $25 after 8 PM. However, you can also get $6 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer every day until 5 PM.

Postino has two locations in Scottsdale — one in Kierland and one near Fashion Square Mall — so it’s easy to enjoy happy hour at Postino during your visit to Scottsdale.

6. Hula’s Modern Tiki

Hula’s Modern Tiki is one of the best happy hour hotspots in Scottsdale. They have a “Tiki Time” happy hour on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 PM – 6 PM, which includes inexpensive appetizers and craft cocktails for just $7 each.

On Wednesday, happy hour lasts until 10 PM. On Saturday and Sunday, only drinks are on happy hour from 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM. The cocktails at Hula’s Modern Tiki and tall and strong — so trust us when we say this excellent happy hour is a great value!

7. Fat Ox

Fat Ox is located on North Scottsdale Road in McCormick Ranch for those wanting to steer clear of Old Town Scottsdale. They serve Italian food made with fresh herbs and local ingredients and offer an “Aperitivo Hour” menu from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at the bar only.

If you want something to drink, try one of the $12 craft cocktails, like the Fat Ox Old Fashioned. The restaurant also offers wine and sangria for $9 and select beers for $5 – $6. However, the food menu is just as good — consider ordering the grilled Calabrian shrimp or Linz prime beef tartare.

8. The Vig

The Vig is a neighborhood hangout that prides itself on its fun and funky indoor and outdoor spaces. They have a few locations across the Valley with their own unique menus, but the McCormick Ranch location is the most centrally located in Scottsdale.

The Vig offers happy hour food and drinks from 3 PM – 6 PM on Monday through Friday. You can enjoy yummy bites — like blistered shishito peppers or crisp red onion rings — and plenty of fabulous drinks. You can order draft beer or well-mixed drinks for $5 and select wine for $7.

The Beverly on Main offers their happy hour from 4 PM – 7 PM on Sunday through Thursday. You will find discounts on beer, wine, cocktails, and shots on the menu. You can also order plenty of munchies, including sweet potato fries, truffle fries, and spicy hummus.
