Annual Scottsdazzle Event
Make sure to stop in and around Old Town Scottsdale this month to attend the various activities being held during this year’s Scottsdazzle event. With an assortment of festivals and signature events, it’s the perfect time to take your family. The month-long events are held on various dates and go as followed:
Sugar Plum Avenue Dec. 7th 3pm-7pm
Walk down 5th avenue with friends and family to experience this winter wonderland! Pay close attention as there will be hourly performances of the Nutcracker as well as Sugar Plum fairies wandering about. Reserve your spot at a family tea party or venture out to one of their aerial performances, face painting activities, and much more!
Canal Concerts Dec. 7th,14th, and 21st 7pm-8:30pm
Take in some fantastic live music on a weekly basis from a variety of local groups such as the Phoenix Boys Choir or Campanillas del Sol. Located on the Scottsdale Waterfront, you are within walking distance to the town’s holiday tree as well as some public art installations that add to the festive atmosphere.
Gold Palette ArtWalk Dec. 12th 6:30pm-9pm
If you enjoy artwork you won’t want to miss out on this extravagant event near Scottsdale. There will be numerous galleries set up on Main Street as well as Marshall Way. The exhibits will feature lighted windows, Southwestern luminaries, poinsettias, Christmas Carolers making the rounds, as well as live ice sculpting that is done with a chainsaw!
Santa Wine Around Dec. 14th 6pm-9pm
An event tailored for adults, those who have a fascination with wine should absolutely attend. With four separate wine tasting rooms, this is the perfect event for adults looking to unwind. This event incentives attendance by offering reasonable tasting discounts at all four locations.
