What You Need to Know About the Phoenix Open

Where

The Waste Management Phoenix Open, also known as the “People’s Open,” is hosted at the TPC Scottsdale Course located in Scottsdale, AZ. It attracts more than 700,000 guests each year.

Though your general admission ticket is sure to offer you a great experience, you may want to consider getting access to the luxury suites at holes 16, 17, and 18. In fact, Skybox 16 is famously known as the “loudest hole in golf” and attracts a vibrant group that’s ready to party each year. There’s a popular tradition at Hole 16 that includes players throwing gifts to fans in the seats, like hats, goodie bags, and more.

When

The Waste Management Open typically occurs during the second week of February. In 2023, the tournament will be hosted from February 6th to February 12th. The event’s final day will be on the same day as the Super Bowl, which will be hosted at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

You can enjoy free admission to the Waste Management Open on Monday and Tuesday. You can expect smaller crowds and more affordable tickets on Wednesday and Thursday, the first two days of the tournament, and the liveliest atmosphere on Friday and Saturday.

You can arrive at the WM Phoenix Open anytime each day before the round is over mid-afternoon. However, most people recommend arriving early, between 7 AM – 9 AM, to avoid traffic delays and to find parking easily. You can learn more details about the schedule and tickets on the official website.
