Here are some of our top recommendations for places to enjoy live music in Scottsdale!

Best Spots for Live Music in Scottsdale

1. Wasted Grain

  • Address: 7295 E Stetson Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
  • Music Schedule: Thursday – Sunday (Times Vary)

Wasted Grain is one of the most unique and lively nightclub experiences in Old Town Scottsdale. Unlike many other nightlife venues, Wasted Grain hosts national live bands and performing artists in a concert-style setting, so you can dance into the night! In addition to live music events, the venue hosts sports-watching parties, bar crawls, food and beverage festivals, and other exciting events.

You can check Wasted Grain’s event calendar to see who will perform each night for the upcoming month. Most performances start between 8 PM and 10 PM. The venue is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 5 PM – 2 AM, Saturdays from 12 PM – 2 PM, and Sundays from 12 PM – 1 AM.

2. Rusty Spur Saloon

  • Address: 7245 E Main Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
  • Music Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday (2 PM, 7:30 PM); Thursday (2 PM, 8 PM); Friday – Saturday (11 AM, 3 PM, 8 PM)

Looking for an authentic cowboy experience during your visit to Scottsdale? Head to Scottsdale’s last cowboy saloon — Rusty Spur Saloon — where you can two-step and line dance the night away to live country music performed by talented local musicians! This legendary cowboy bar features traditional decor, an old-fashioned bar, a swinging door (just like the saloons in the movies), and, most importantly, live music seven days per week!

Though Rusty Spur Saloon is known for its cold beers and margaritas, you can order any drink from the bartenders at the full bar. The saloon also serves lunch items earlier in the day, like Cowboy Chili or South of the Border Burgers, until 3 PM. Stop by in the afternoon to enjoy lunch while listening to live music for laid-back vibes, or bring your friends in the evening for a lively nightlife experience.

Insider Tips for Enjoying Live Music in Scottsdale, AZ

Before heading out to one of the best venues in Scottsdale for live music, be sure to keep the following tips in mind:

  • Check the Dress Code — While informal attire is acceptable at some bars and live music hotspots in Scottsdale, others, like cocktail bars or upscale restaurants, require formal or semi-formal attire.
