Memorials & Cemeteries

Memorial Day is, first and foremost, an opportunity to remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. There are plenty of places you can visit to pay your respects to these soldiers, including the National Memorial Cemetery in Arizona.

While at this cemetery on Cave Creek Road, you can visit two unique memorials — the Eternal Flame and WWII Submarine Torpedo Monument — and help the volunteers place American flags on each of the graves to pay your respects to the fallen soldiers.

Pool Parties

There are plenty of pool parties happening at resorts across Scottsdale and Phoenix during Memorial Day, with plenty of entertainment — from live music to DJ tunes.

Some of the top pools to check out include the OH Pool at Hotel Valley Ho and the Wet Deck at W Scottsdale. The W Scottsdale offers a themed menu, live music, and signature cocktails during the holiday weekend.
