Looking for fun ways to celebrate Easter in Scottsdale, Arizona? From colorful egg hunts and themed photo ops to delicious brunches and outdoor games — there is no shortage of things to do in Scottsdale during Easter weekend. 

Here are the best Easter events and brunches in Scottsdale for plenty of Easter fun this spring!

Dining Experiences for Easter in Scottsdale

An inviting Easter brunch table is set with a variety of foods in a bright, sunlit room. Easter Brunch at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

The Wigwam’s Easter Brunch Buffet

Enjoy all your brunch favorites during a grand brunch at The Wigwam’s Easter Brunch Buffet in the Wigwam Ballroom. This delicious buffet includes carved meats, seafood, salads, desserts, and more. Kids will also be delighted to take a photo with the Easter Bunny in the foyer before or after brunch.

Easter at Sanctuary at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain

  • Date: Sunday, March 31st, 2024 (12 PM – 8 PM)
  • Price: $130+ for adults & $55+ for children (11 and under)

If you’d rather have someone else cook the Easter feast, head to Easter at Sanctuary at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain.

On the evening of Easter, this resort offers a prix fixe menu that will delight your taste buds. The menu features bread service, a first course, an entree, and dessert. You can choose your first course and entree from a pre-selected menu. This is an excellent way to enjoy a lovely holiday meal with family and friends while also enjoying the gorgeous Arizona mountain views!

Easter Egg Hunts & Events

Bunny Hop at Desert Ridge Marketplace

  • Date: Saturday, March 16th, 2024 (10 AM – 12 PM)
  • Price: Free

If you want something fun to do a few weeks before the big celebration, head to Bunny Hop at Desert Ridge. This event is free to the public and includes photos with the Easter Bunny, live entertainment at The District Stage with contests and giveaways, balloon-twisting fun, crafts, and other outdoor games.

In addition to this event, the Easter Bunny will also be inside The District at Desert Ridge for photos on Thursday, March 14th, and Sunday, March 17th.

Hide & Peep Scavenger Hunt at Scottsdale Quarter

  • Date: Saturday, March 30th, 2024 (11 AM – 2 PM)
  • Price: $5 per child

Hide & Peep is a fun and free event for kids in Scottsdale Quarter on the Saturday of Easter weekend. It includes music, crafts, face painting, and balloon-twisting fun for kids of all ages.

However, the main event is the egg hunt, where kids can search for colorful eggs hidden around Scottsdale Quarter and unlock the secret location of a bag full of treats. Tickets must be purchased for $5 per child for the Easter egg hunt, which is available at 11 AM, 11:30 AM, 12 PM, and 12:30 PM. Photos with the Easter Bunny are also available in The Quad.

Great Egg Hunt & Family Fair at Arizona Boardwalk

  • Date: Saturday, March 30th, 2024 (10 AM – 2 PM)
  • Price: Free

Great Egg Hunt & Family Fair takes place at the Arizona Boardwalk (one of the best things to do in Scottsdale with kids!) on the Saturday before Easter. This free event offers Easter activities for kids, including live entertainment, face painting, inflatable bounce houses, coloring contests, giveaways, and more. Parents can check out the community resource booths and enjoy delicious snacks from restaurants and food vendors on the property.

Easter egg hunts are one of the highlights of the Great Egg Hunt & Family Fair at Arizona Boardwalk. The search for colorful eggs begins at 10:30 AM for kids 0–3 years old, at 11 AM for kids 4–6, and at 11:30 AM for kids 7–10. Photos with the Easter Bunny can be purchased for $10.

Home for the Holidays: Spring Celebration at Taliesin West

  • Date: Saturday, March 30th, 2024 (9 AM – 12 PM)
  • Price: $25 for adults, $15 for children (6–12), children five and under are free

Home for the Holidays: Spring Celebration is a delightful opportunity to ring in the beautiful spring season at Taliesin West. Participants can enjoy botanical crafts, live music, outdoor games, delicious food, fascinating films, and more during this event. Kids (and adults!) can also search for the secret location of the five Easter eggs hidden on the property.

Although it is not a formal tour of Taliesin West, this event is a great opportunity to learn more about the history and tradition of this impressive property, built by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Consider also booking a tour of Taliesin West — it’s one of the best museums in Scottsdale!

Easter Bunny Express at Verde Canyon Railroad

  • Date: Saturday, March 30th, 2024 (1 PM)
  • Price: $119 for adults and children (ages one and older)

Explore the magical wilderness of the Verde Valley on a fun and festive day trip from Scottsdale!

On March 30th, 2024, the Verde Canyon Railroad will transform into the Easter Bunny Express. Before boarding the train for a four-hour train ride, families can snap a photo with the Easter Bunny (and load up on lots of hugs and treats!). While on board, the Easter Bunny hosts a fun, winner-take-all jelly bean contest for the kids, while adults can enjoy sipping on cocktails and enjoying the meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and other goodies served while soaking in the beautiful views of the Verde Canyon and cherishing the family fun.
